I have worked in an educational setting for over 10 years prior to teaching in my own classroom. This will be my fifth year teaching (2yrs Kindergarten and 3yrs First Grade). I will be starting my third year here at St. Joseph and enjoy our family environment amongst staff and school families. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from The University at Buffalo in 2009. I went on to further my education and received a Master's Degree in Education from Argosy University in 2011. I am currently finishing my last steps of the credential requirements for a certification through National University. I have been married for eight years and we have two daughters (ages 5 and 1) and two dogs. We moved to Washington in 2016 and have loved every minute of our lifestyle here in the PNW. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, canning, crafting, jogging, camping, and exploring the things that the PNW has to offer. I enjoy teaching at St. Joseph School because I can watch the students grow closer to God and they feel safe in expressing their desire to learn about Him everyday. While teaching, one of my most favorite things is watching 'the light bulbs go on' as students grow and become excited about the things they are learning.
