I have been teaching at St. Joseph School since 2016. I started my career here when I was asked to do a long-term sub in Kindergarten. I fell in love with the school and students and am very blessed to have been asked back the next year in a full-time position. I graduated from St. Martin's University with my Bachelor's in Education with endorsements in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, and Reading.
My favorite part about teaching is seeing the light in the student's eyes when they learn something new. In my classroom I use Behavior Bucks to encourage good behaviors. On Mondays students get to turn in their Behavior Bucks to purchase things like extra recess, sitting on the yoga ball, and lunch with myself and a friend! I love being able to do centers in my classroom to build on what we are learning and explore a specific theme! In Kindergarten we work hard and have lots of fun while doing it!
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I am a huge fan of game nights! I also enjoying soaking up any time I have to relax!
