My name is Susan Jendryka. I have been a teacher at St. Joseph School for over twenty years. I have taught Kindergarten and First Grade. Now I am teaching Third grade. I went to high school in Oregon City, then continued on to Centralia College, and finished my BA of Education with a major in English at Western Washington University. I received my Professional Certification through Pacific Lutheran University. I am married to Brian, a former St. Joseph School student, and we have two children, Stephen and Kristin, both graduates of St. Joseph School. We live in Chehalis with our dog and three cats. I love all things feline. My passion is reading, and my favorite author is Jane Austin. I try to instill that love of reading in all my students. I am working to increase my knowledge of technology. I work with Prodigy and Missoula Children's Theater as part of my job here at school. I love being able to teach at a school that reflects my values, and allows me to bring God into the classroom every day.
