Mrs. Hanshaw has announced her retirement after this school year. She has been a teacher at St. Joseph School for 19 years. We have been blessed to have Mrs. Hanshaw teach Kindergarten, first grade, and second grade at St. Joe's. She has touched a lot of lives while at the school. We wish her well in her retirement and are grateful for all her time here at St. Joseph School!
From Mrs. Hanshaw: "I would like you to know that I have decided to retire at the end of this 2022/23 school year. I have really enjoyed, and feel blessed to have been able to be part of the St. Joseph family for these last 19 years. I plan on being available to fill in when the teachers need a substitute, so you will still see me around the school every now and then. If you've noticed a pile out on the picnic table I have been slowly going through my teacher stuff and making it available for the other teachers to take. I am looking forward to being able to spend more time with my grandchildren and pursue my love of travel, gardening, and the arts. God Bless, Peace and Love, Mrs. Hanshaw"

Based on the recommendation of our school commission, after reviewing our budget for the year and looking at a chart comparing our teachers' salaries compared to local schools, we have increased our tuition five percent for the 2023-2024 school year. This will be an increase of $1.36/school day or $0.67/day for the entire calendar year for one child.
